Over The Top Gems
Over the Top Gems is a small Silver Persian-only cattery. Our cats are family members who participate in daily activities. Every day, our children play with the cats and kittens. To adapt and socialize the kittens to whatever they may experience in life, they are exposed to numerous people and objects. Because we adore our cats so much, we’ve decided to raise kittens.
I exhibit with the CFA (Cat Fanciers Association). As a Persian Cat Breeder, I strive to create healthy and affectionate Persian and Exotic cats and kittens. I strive to provide my Persian Cats with all the love, care, and attention they require to make a smooth transfer from my home to yours.

Dalee Silver and Golden Persians
I have specialized in developing Chinchilla and Shaded Goldens over the years, which is challenging. In light of this, I am pleased with the accomplishments of my Chinchilla Golden Retriever, Dalee Lollipop; she is a very unusual Chinchilla Golden. When I exhibited Lollipop, numerous CFA judges remarked that she was the finest Chinchilla Golden they had ever had the pleasure of judging.

Short History of the Persian Cat
The Persian cat is a breed of domestic cat that was first recognized by the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) in 1906. They were imported to Europe from Persia, where they have been bred for over 600 years. The breed’s long silky fur makes it one of the most popular breeds among pet owners who like to show their cats at competitions or enjoy their company, as cats should be enjoyed!
The Persian is an ancient breed with origins dating back thousands of years ago when Persia was still part of ancient Greece and Rome; therefore, this is why we refer to them as “Ancient Greek.” It’s believed that these cats were bred specifically because they had such beautiful fur—and so much more!
Tips When Choosing a Persian Cat Breeder or Cattery
When choosing a Persian cat breeder or cattery, you should look for one that:
- Is a member of the CFA or TICA (the two main organizations that certify pedigree cats). These organizations are considered to be the best when it comes to quality assurance and testing.
- He has been breeding cats for more than five years and has had at least one litter per year. The longer they have been breeding and keeping records, the better!
- It has clean facilities where they keep their kittens in quarantine until they are old enough to leave with their new families. If you’re looking at photos online, ensure there are no signs of fecal contamination on any surfaces in your potential breeder’s home—this includes floors/carpets too!
How Much Does a Persian Cat Cost?
A Persian cat’s price depends on various factors, including age and quality. A kitten costs less than an adult cat because kittens have fewer health issues and require less care. If you are looking for an older breed member, expect to pay more than if you were purchasing a young kitten.
As with any other breed of dog or cat, you can expect to pay anywhere from $500 for the cheapest kittens at pet stores to $3000 for some scarce specimens at high-end auctions or private collections around the country (such as those owned by celebrities).
Do Persian Cats Make Good Pets?
Persian cats are known for their affectionate and cuddly nature. They love to be held, petted and played with by their owners. This makes them a good choice if you want a friendly cat and easy to care for. However, if you’re looking for a cat who will play with other pets in your home or outside, this breed might not be the best one for you. Persians also make excellent house pets because they don’t need as much attention as other breeds, so they’ll sleep most of the time when left alone at home (or even more than usual).
Persian cats can be very active indoors, but they don’t like being outdoors because it’s too hot or cold outside where there are lots of distractions like cars passing by on busy roads nearby, which might scare off any potential predators lurking around outside looking for prey such as birds flying overhead.”
When choosing the right breeder for your Persian cat, you want to ensure that they are friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with.
