Temple Parlor began in 1999, six months after I graduated from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine on Seattle’s Queen Anne Hill. My interest in breeding cats brings together Yoga, Medicine, Art, and Fancy Felines. Short History of the Persian Cat

The Persian cat is one of the oldest breeds of domesticated cats, dating back to at least 1000 CE. They were first bred in Persia (now Iran), then used as show cats and for their silk coats.

In 1877, a breeder named Sarah Johnson gave birth to two kittens—one male and one female—that she had bred from her original pair of Persians. The kitten was named “Mary” after its mother; it was believed that she had given birth to several more kittens before giving birth once again with this new litter due to her being pregnant at the same time as her husband died during World War I when he was serving overseas in France fighting for his country against Germany’s rise over Europe since 1914-1918 where it became Germany’s turn under Adolf Hitler’s leadership so now there would be no peace between nations anymore because they wanted total control over everything including food production which led into rationing but luckily enough many people still enjoyed eating meat despite rationing happening throughout Europe due only because farmers needed cash flow through taxes collected by governments so people could survive long periods without having to access too much money

Are Persian Cats Hypoallergenic?

The Persian cat is one of the most popular breeds of cats in the world. They are known for their long, fluid-like fur and beautiful blue eyes.

Persians are not 100% hypoallergenic, but they have fewer allergens than other breeds, making them less likely to cause allergies in some people. This makes them a great choice if you’re looking for an indoor pet or if your child has asthma or other allergies that affect their breathing at night when sleeping with pets (or even general outdoor exposure).

Tips When Choosing a Persian Cat Breeder or Cattery

  • Check the breeder’s credentials. All Persian cat breeders should be registered with the American Cat Fanciers Association (ACFA) and have a current ACFA membership number. You can also check their website to see if they have any recent show results or awards.
  • Ask about health testing for both parents and each kitten before taking home one of their littermates. This will help you know what kind of care your new pet will need to stay healthy, active, and happy throughout its life expectancy!
  • Ask about temperament testing before choosing which kitten is best suited for your family—this will help ensure that no matter who ends up being adopted first by someone else, when looking over all available pets at once during this process; there won’t be any surprises later down the road when things inevitably go wrong due lack thereof knowledge beforehand.”

Do Persian Cats Make Good Pets?

Persian cats are an excellent choice for anyone looking to get a pet. They are known for their cuddly nature and affection, making them great companions around the house. The Persian cat breed is also hypoallergenic, which means it does not cause allergic reactions in people with allergies. This makes Persian cats the ideal choice for those who want to be able to touch their pets without getting irritated by their fur or dander (dried powder).

Persians also make great additions because they’re easygoing and don’t require much care once they become accustomed to living with humans. They can be trained easily if you have patience; give them lots of treats or playtime! If you’re looking for something that needs little attention but still wants love and affection from its owner, consider getting a Persian cat!

Conclusion

As you can see, the Persian cat is a beautiful and intelligent breed that makes a great companion. You will find many people who have become devoted to this cat species because they are so loving! If you’re looking for a new addition to your family, we recommend getting one of these beautiful creatures today because they are so fun and easy to care for!
