When it comes to cat beds, any cat owner will be well aware that you can’t always bank on your cat using the bed you provide for them. Often much to our frustration!

Cats are cats, they can be gifted the most comfortable and luxury bed in the world, then choose to sleep on the hard floor next to it.

With that being said, they can also take to a bed and use it for most of those 16 hours a day they sleep. There are all kinds of tricks and tips to get a cat to use their bed, but honestly, almost nothing works.

What you need to do is provide a bed that they want to use. Cat’s are too smart and stubborn to be tricked or convinced to use a bed they don’t want to use.

The Hepper Pet Pod is an interesting, modern, and sleek looking cat bed, that’s for sure. Not only is it a great cat bed, but it’s also a cool piece of furniture for those who like to keep their homes looking sharp.

Looking good wasn’t the only goal of the designers. It’s been carefully designed to provide plenty of enclosed space so cat’s feel more secure and inclined to sleep in it, it’s raised off the floor because cats prefer to be up high, and the luxurious padding is almost enough to make me climb in and take a nap.

Specifications of the Hepper Pet Pod

Privacy – The enclosed design allows your cat some privacy. You can walk around without disturbing their beauty sleep, and they can have some of that alone time cats enjoy.

Warm and Cosy – Cats love having a warm and cozy place to sleep. The pod is lined with removable and washable fabric, so you can keep it clean. It’s a high-quality soft lining too, lovely to the touch.

Airflow – One of the problems with the standard cat bed that lives on the floor is the lack of airflow. Having this pod off the ground allows for airflow, and ease of cleaning.

Modern Design – This cat bed looks really modern and dynamic. It will be the talking point for visitors and doesn’t look untidy or out of place in any modern home.

Choice of Colors – The Pod comes in two different colors. There is the grey model, which fits nicely into the more modern home, and it’s subtle. Then there is the green model, which is more of a statement and will stand out.

The microfibre padding inside is grey for the grey model and orange for the green model. I really like the look of the green one, I think it’s a unique and interesting piece of furniture.

Is It Worth the Money?

This is always down to a person’s individual preference. Personally, if you’re looking to treat your kitty to a new bed, I think it’s more than worth it. You buying into more than just a bed, it’s a unique piece of furniture.

Dimensions of the Hepper Pet Pod

Cats come in all shapes and sizes, and this Pod is able to give any size cat a good night’s sleep. It’s been tried and tested on cats weighing over 20 lbs, so I’m sure you won’t find any problems there.

The overall size of the Pod is 18″ x 16″ x 19″ (W x D x H). The door is 8″ x 7″ (W x H), with the bottom of the door being 11″ from the floor. The bedding area is 15″ diameter, and 11″ from floor to ceiling, so there is plenty of room for the average cat, with the roof coming off for those larger kitties.
