Here are some of the key features that make this litter (in my opinion) the best on the market:
Dust free – This is the driving force behind this article. I’m not sure exactly how their cat litter scientists made a formula with zero dust but it really is.
Seals in waste – The micro-granules form a tight seal around the waste matter. This locks in the odor and makes it easy to scoop out.
Odor-free – It’s about as odor-free as litter gets. The baking soda and other ingredients combined with the clumping keeps odor where you want it, safely locked up in the litter and the kitty box.
Soft to touch – It’s a very fine litter. The manufacturer bumph says it’s made with micro-particles, so that gives you an idea of how fine it is if you haven’t tried it yet.
Clumping – Arm & Hammer say it’s the plant-derived particles that help create the solid clumps in their litter. It certainly clumps harder than other litters I’ve tried.

The information on the box isn’t 100% clear, it says, ‘A proprietary blend of moisture-activated micro-granules.’ So we can take that as a carefully blended formula that works.
It also says that it includes Arm & Hammer’s baking soda which is an interesting ingredient.
Baking soda is very effective for bacteria prevention. It breaks down waste matter and eliminates odors. I actually use it around the house for some homemade cleaning uses, and there are dozens of other uses for baking soda that are pretty cool.

Is It a Multi-Cat Litter?
Another selling point of the Arm & Hammer litter is that it can be used in a multi-cat household.
I recommend at least one litter box per cat they can call their own. But I know it’s a space issue for some people, or their cats are happy sharing boxes with each other.
The main reason cats do not share litter boxes is because of the smell. Cats are very particular about other cat’s scents. Plus, let’s be honest, it’s not ideal pooping next to another cats poop.
