Creative Heaven: Creative Cats Coloring Book for Adults
Creative Cats has more than 30 pages waiting to be colored in. I love how the designs are filled with all kinds of patterns and smaller images giving you loads of things to color and the opportunity to use a wide range of colors.
It’s aimed more to the experienced coloring enthusiast I would say. But, let’s be honest, no picture is too difficult. Cat Butt: An Off-Color Adult Coloring Book for Cat Lovers
There has been a trend involving coloring books – and cat butts. I’m not sure where and why it started, and I do find it kinda funny, but I don’t really get it to be honest.
I’ve included a couple of cat butt coloring books in this list because they are so popular and selling so well that I know it’s going to appeal to some of my crazy readers. So, enjoy coloring butts!

Carrying on from the cat butt theme and avoiding all the obvious puns, here is a coloring book featuring ‘Cute Cats Farting,’ apparently.

Crazy Cat Lady Coloring Book for Adults
The Crazy Cat Lady merchandise is funny. I have a friend who has been bought a few things as we all joke she’s a crazy cat lady (not so much a joke as a fact).
This’ll make a perfect gift for anyone you call a crazy cat lady – or just a gift for you if you want some really simple designs with a bit of humor to color in.
Cat Butts Coloring Book for Adults
The cat butt coloring books seem to be on the rise of popularity, but this is the only other one I’ll recommend, I promise.
I like this one. The butts are not too oppressive (that’s a weird statement to say out loud), and each page has a cool backgound that looks like a cat wallpaper to color in.
Worth considering, if not just as a meme gift for someone else.
What Are the Benefits of Coloring?
There are a number of therapeutic benefits associated with coloring. It’s not a new discovery, coloring therapy has been used for decades, and using coloring to calm hyperactive kids and so on also goes back a long way.
But the phenomenon of adult coloring books is something that has exploded in popularity in recent years.
I think some of the barriers and stereotypes of coloring books being something for kids had to be broken down. That’s happened, now it’s not even questioned, moreso coloring for aduilts is encouraged by a lot of therapists.
Some of the benefits of coloring for adults include:
- Helping your brain to enter a meditative state.
- Increasing your awareness through mindfulness.
- Pulling you away from your electronic devices for a ‘detox’.
- Reducing the symptoms of stress, anxiety, and other mental struggles.
All of this is achieved because coloring requires you to focus on the task in hand, which helps clear your mind of all your worries.
There is also the challenge and a sense of achievement in completing the picture to the best of your ability, and trying to improve over time.
On a basic level, it’s a hobby, pastime, activity, however you want to view it, that stimulates your brain and helps you engage with a productive task.
Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? My advice is to try it before passing judgement. It’s super convenient too, you can color anywhere, anytime, and it doesn’t cost much. Just keeps getting better and better!
